The pleasant design, low power consumption and judder-free video playback should be mentioned first of all with regard to the VX2268wm.
The average input lag of 20 milliseconds, although in combination with a fast refresh rate and lag free response to mouse movements, will only satisfy hobby gamers.
The less pleasing points unfortunately are in the majority. The fact that noise is produced at various levels of brightness is hugely irritating; at this point, we cannot recommend that Silent PC fans purchase this model. The practically non-existent ergonomic functions are also not contemporary.
Film lovers and amateur photographers will be irritated by the weaknesses of the TN panel: the contrast, black value and viewing angle cannot keep up with those of a VA or IPS panel because of the technology used. With regard to colour display and video playback. The Viewsonic does not shine, but delivers a solid performance. The large range of refresh rates supported should be highlighted here.
Thus, the price, which is somewhat high in comparison to similar monitors in this size category, is not justified by the features (connectors, resolution) design, manufacturing quality or ergonomic functions of the model. Thus, its ability to provide "real" 3D display remains as the only reason to justify the price. However, from our point of view, this is not sufficient. There are even 24-inch models which offer a better performance for less money.
